It’s just NOT FAIR!!!
I found out on Tuesday morning via the 10am news, that all tickets to Eric Clapton’s concert at the Mission Estate in Napier were sold out in two hours! Two bleedin’ hours! This really surprised me as the FIRST time I had heard that he was playing there was at the same time I heard they were sold out. They sure kept us Aucklanders in the dark!!!
This is the first time Clapton will have played in NZ and it doesn’t look like there will be any other concerts here – he is going to Oz tho’ ![]()
I would be quite willing swap my U2 tickets with someone….
May try Trade Me…
A chance of a lifetime gone begging! ![]()
Off to sulk some more…![]()
Ok…
Tonight I have “phoned the world” as R would put it, and I have been in touch with some VERY long lost buddies! If any of you read this, you know I want to stay in touch, so it is up to you..
The ones that would rather I hadn’t found them can ignore my emails! ;-)
Life in a far off land can be lonely – especially when ur hubby has a school reunion….![]()
Well it is truly upon us! The most sought-after cup that any country that is in love with the “Beautiful Game” wishes to covet for themselves. Alas good old NZ missed out on qualifying again, but I CERTAINLY will NOT be supporting the bleedin’ Aussies.

Ah, so who to support?
Well, if I had to support some of the student’s sides, then Germany, Switzerland, Czech Rep, Japan, Korea and Brazil would be in the running. Or if I supported our neighbours teams Croatia and Serbia/Montenegro (Danny from Croatia, Zoya from Serbia) would be the ones to feature highly.
But life is never simple, so I had to go with the country that is closest to Scotland – so that means that I am supporting England!

Not that there has been any pressure from some Poms over there (Sharon!). However, my brain tells me that perhaps Brazil will be the Champs, but judging by the standard of football I have witnessed over the past few days, the competition is wide open!
Boos and Hisses to Ghana today tho’… who annoyed me with their grubby play … ![]()
I have joined an online competition and so far am doing pretty badly picking the scores, winners etc. Will have to try better! ![]()
